Carmichael is a lovely rural area situated halfway between Lanark and Biggar offering peace and tranquility,yet within easy access of Edinburgh and Glasgow. All are 250 year old stone cottages nestling in the woods and hills. Formerly Estate workers cottages they have now been restored for comfortable holiday accommodation. Gardens cottage sits in a lovely secluded area with plenty of walks and views from the doorstep. There is an outside deck for relaxed summer living. Nearby is a small private fishing lochan. We lay claim to Scotland's oldest farmer producer and have a farm shop selling our home-produced venison, beef and lamb.
